Clinical Guard at the 2009 Florida Nurses Association Conference

Some of the folks at Clinical Guard headed down to the Sunshine State earlier this month to partake in the Florida Nurses Association’s Centennial Conference. Held in St. Pete Beach, Florida, the FNA Conference is focused on serving and supporting all registered nurses through professional development, advocacy and the promotion of excellence at every level of professional nursing practice. As a first year sponsor of the FNA Conference, we were pleased to participate and contribute to the educational development of medical professionals.

As a pioneer to the profession, Florence Nightingale paved the way for all of our present day nurses by laying the foundation for nursing education. Through her work at infirmaries and, more notably, in the Crimean War, Nightingale gained a reputation that preceded her. Longing to amp her skills, American born Linda Richards trained under Nightingale for seven months in England. Upon her return to America, she become known as America’s first professionally trained nurse who became another notable pioneer to the profession.

While are far from medical professionals, Clinical Guard is centered around bringing the highest quality health monitoring equipment at the most affordable price while providing top-notch customer service to industry professionals. Products like thermometers, peak flow meters, blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, nebulizers and more are available on our website.

As advocates of self monitoring and preservation, we support all nursing students and professionals for their commitment to others by promoting health awareness.
