My Life Saver

I am a home care nurse who has one of those patients who has “fell thru the cracks”. She gets just enough each month not to get any help but not enough to make it thru the month. This patient has an alpha-1-antitripysin deficiency and has chronic lung problems requiring continuous home oxygen. She has had multiple hospitalizations due to decreased oxygenation.
